Sparks 74, Fever 66
Friday June 13, 2003LOS ANGELES (AP) Lisa Leslie thinks the undefeated Los Angeles Sparks can still play better especially at home.
Los Angeles beat Indiana 74-66 Thursday night, but the Sparks (8-0) committed 19 turnovers, matching their average for three games at Staples Center this season.
The Sparks have averaged 12.4 turnovers in five road games.
``I feel we're playing really raggedy at home right now,'' said Leslie, who had 21 points and 13 rebounds. ``Starting out on the road, we're so much more disciplined.
``For some reason, when we're at home, we're just going a little bit too fast. We have a lot of unforced turnovers.''
In other WNBA games Thursday night, Sacramento beat Minnesota 68-55, and Charlotte edged Phoenix 58-50.
Natalie Williams scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting for Indiana (2-3).
