Friday June 13, 2003LOS ANGELES (AP) Lisa Leslie had 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Los Angeles Sparks remained the WNBA's only undefeated team with a 74-66 win over the Indiana Fever on Thursday night.
The Sparks' Mwadi Mabika scored 12 points, while teammate DeLisha Milton added 11. The two-time defending WNBA champions (8-0) moved to within one victory of matching the best start in their seven-year history, set in 2001.
Natalie Williams scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting for Indiana (2-3).

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) Tangela Smith scored 13 of her 17 points in the second half Thursday night, leading slumping Sacramento past Minnesota.
Edna Campbell had 15 points, rookie Kara Lawson scored 14 and Yolanda Griffith had 13 for the Monarchs (3-5), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

PHOENIX (AP) Andrea Stinson had 19 points and 10 rebounds as Charlotte beat Phoenix.
Stinson, who scored the first eight Sting points, shot 8 of 14 from the field. The Sting (5-2) have won five of six.
Anna DeForge, in her first start as a member of the Mercury (1-7), scored 10 points.
Phoenix was within 48-46 with 6:57 remaining, but Charlotte Smith-Taylor hit a 3-pointer with 4:43 left to give the Sting a 53-48 lead. Phoenix never got closer than three the rest of the way.
It was Stinson's sixth career double-double.
