Arenas pleads innocent to misdemeanor charges
Friday August 08, 2003SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) Former Golden State Warriors guard Gilbert Arenas has pleaded innocent to misdemeanor charges of carrying a concealed weapon and driving without a license.
Arenas, who recently signed with the Washington Wizards, was stopped by South San Francisco police on June 4. He did not have his license with him and he was carrying a handgun. He pleaded innocent Tuesday to all charges.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for Sept. 9 and a jury trial is planned for Oct. 14.
