UCLA to train at Cal State-Fullerton
Monday June 23, 2003LOS ANGELES (AP) The UCLA football team will spend a week of its preseason practice sessions at Cal State-Fullerton.
Camp opens Aug. 12 on the Westwood campus. One-a-day practices will be held at UCLA from Aug. 13-15.
Workouts at Fullerton begin Aug. 16 and will culminate in a scrimmage on Aug. 23. All practices at Fullerton will be open to the public. There will be a $5 charge for the scrimmage.
Practices will resume in Westwood on Aug. 25.
The Bruins spent of their preseason camp off-campus last year when they trained at Cal Lutheran, but those facilities were not available again because of a scheduling conflict.
UCLA opens the season at Colorado on Sept. 6.
