Kings recall two from minors
Sunday February 09, 2003DALLAS (AP) The Los Angeles Kings recalled defenseman Jason Holland and center Chris Schmidt from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League on Sunday.
The moves were made before the Kings' game at Dallas on Sunday night.
Holland and Schmidt were needed because defensemen Chris McAlpine and Brad Norton and forward Jason Allison are all out with injuries.
Both Holland and Schmidt were called up by the Kings earlier this season but neither appeared in a game.
Holland had one goal and 18 assists in 44 games with Manchester this season. Schmidt had 12 goals and 10 assists in 49 games for the Monarchs.
