ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) Anaheim Mighty Ducks defenseman Keith Carney has a broken right foot and is expected to miss three to four weeks, the team said Friday.
Carney was injured during Thursday night 3-1 exhibition victory at Phoenix when he blocked a shot by the Coyotes' Shane Doan. He was examined Friday by team physician Dr. Ronald Glousman, who said surgery wasn't necessary for the non-displaced fracture.
