Pincay to serve delayed six-day suspension
Thursday December 12, 2002INGLEWOOD, Calif. (AP) Laffit Pincay Jr. is atop the Hollywood Park jockey standings with 28 winners, but he'll have a hard time staying there.
Pincay will miss the final six days of the fall meeting to serve a delayed suspension for a riding infraction earlier in the year.
He'll also miss a day to ride at Calder while being honored at the Florida track on Dec. 21, Pincay's agent, Bob Meldahl, said Thursday.
The 55-year-old Pincay is just one win ahead of Alex Solis in the standings. The meeting ends Dec. 22.
