WEST COVINA, Calif. (AP) Police seeking a man wanted for alleged sexual abuse of a stepdaughter under the age of 14 said Friday the man also was believed to have abducted his two sons and a stepson.
Police Lt. Pete Mena said the FBI was assisting in the search for Carlos Alberto Sandoval, 31. He and the three missing boys ages 9 to 12 were last seen on Wednesday leaving a West Covina residence. Sandoval was driving a white Jeep Cherokee with California license plate 3RUU408, authorities said.
``We are talking with family members in an attempt to locate them,'' Mena said. Texas authorities also were contacted because Sandoval has relatives there, he said.
The children police believed abducted are Sandoval's sons Adam, 9, Alexander, 10, and stepson Gabriel, 12, police said.
