Jonathan Masaki - KMAX http://upn31.com/bios/BioFolder/bio_031195403/index_html Jonathan made his television debut in Tokyo, Japan, playing a monster in a nationally televised variety show. "I guess the producers thought I had the right look for the part," admits this Hawaii boy who was born and raised on the island of Maui. Since then, Jonathan has hung up his "acting" shoes and moved on to the news business, joining the "Good Day Sacramento" cast in December 2000. While trading in his surfer shorts for winter coats proved to be a challenge, Jonathan doesn’t regret taking a news reporter position here at UPN 31 one bit. Prior to coming to KMAX, Jonathan also worked as a reporter for CNN Radio, KGMB and KHON in Honolulu and WIS in Columbia, South Carolina. Jonathan is also proud to be a soldier and serves as an officer in the California Army National Guard. Aside from work, Jonathan loves dogs including his furry keeshond Omega, discovering new jogging trails here in the valley and talking about his home state of Hawaii.
